St Benet’s has two small but well stocked libraries which are open to its members twenty-four hours a day. The collection caters mostly, but not exclusively, to the undergraduate courses offered by the Hall. The Librarian is Marjory Szurko. The Library Committee is chaired by an undergraduate and is made up of student and fellow representatives. It meets regularly with the Librarian and Fellow Librarian to discuss issues affecting the library and its users.

The collection can be viewed via SOLO (link to Members of St Benet’s are able to borrow books using the self-checkout system by scanning their Bodleian Library cards; these will also give them access to the Bodleian and faculty libraries, all of which are within walking distance of the Hall.

The library is not normally open to the public but members of the University who are not members of St Benet’s should contact the Librarian at if they need to consult an item in the collection.

Further details about the library are available on the Bodleian’s college library pages, click here. Members of St Benet’s may view the library’s regulations by logging in to the intranet. The St Benet's Hall library also has its own Facebook page.
