St Benet's MPhil student speaking in Tel Aviv

Servane Hardouin (St Benet's, MPhil in Egyptology) is one of ten Oxford Humanities students selected to participate in the Oxford - Tel Aviv Programme in the Study of the Ancient World. The Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies in Oxford and the Departments of Classics, History and Jewish Philosophy in Tel Aviv run an annual workshop and graduate seminar series to foster academic contacts. This year's topic is ‘Religion and Society in the Ancient World’.

This week Servane will give a paper at the workshop in Tel Aviv, speaking on sistra music and goddesses in ancient Egypt.
