In co-operation with the Centre for Culture and Health at the University of Gothenburg, St Benet’s Hall co-hosted a hearing on Medical Humanities 13-15 January 2014. 23 scholars from Britain and Scandinavia discussed the emergence and scope of this field of research and teaching and explored medical, cultural, religious and sociological aspects of promising interdisciplinary approaches to issues of health and health education today.
