St Benet's Hall were delighted to welcome Professor Philippe Bordeyne, Rector of the Institut Catholique de Paris, as the speaker at the 2017 John Henry Newman Lecture on Wednesday 31st May 2017.

Professor Bordeyne gave a powerful speech on "Experiencing the Transforming Power of Faith Today", followed by a stimulating Q&A session.

The John Henry Newman Annual Lecture is offered to the University of Oxford by its Cahtolic Halls: Blackfriars, Campion Hall, and St Benet's Hall.
