Eighth week brought relief to the bustle of Trinity term and the demands of the exam season in the form of the JCR’s traditional social events. The week began with the annual evening picnic, held in the picturesque setting of Port Meadow and the banks of the River Thames. It concluded with the Hall garden party, one of the few occasions of its kind in Oxford that is entirely free of charge to invited guests. This year the JCR decked out the garden with a Havana-themed twist, and put on a first-rate celebration for the Hall’s students, monastic community, fellows, tutors and staff.

As the term comes to a close, we wish all our members a pleasant and restful vacation!
