Dr Frances Reynolds, Senior Research Fellow in Oriental Studies at St Benet’s Hall, is an invited speaker at the conference ‘Food and Ritual: Ancient Practices, Modern Perspectives’ at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, 19-21 March 2014. This international, interdisciplinary conference is on the religious uses of food in ancient Greece and Rome, Mesopotamia, the Hebrew Bible, and South and South-east Asia.
