Guest Speaker: Bishop Martin Lind

The Hall welcomed The Rt Revd Dr Martin Lind of the Lutheran Church in Great Britain as our first Tuesday dinner speaker this term. The Bishop gave a timely speech on Holocaust Memorial Day about Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the subject of his doctoral thesis. Bonhoeffer, a Lutheran theologian and member of the German resistance, was imprisoned by the Nazis at Buchenwald and Flossenbürg concentration camps before his execution in April 1945.  Pictured:...
